Choose rewards for the problem you are facing: stamina for movement, health for mistakes, oxygen for exploration or Cold Protection for progression. Start with actions near your current route and keep later side quests for when you can reach them.
Rewards follow Steam Build 25201608. Action and location suggestions are attributed to community guides; this is not a timed optimal route.

Two actions near the starting train

Crysal’s guide places Click-click at the toilet light controls in the train. Repeatedly operating the light switch is the described action.
For Hacker, the same guide points to the password written on the front of the train and gives 0861 for the nearby train door. That is a different lock from the later Depot lockers.
Add rewards while exploring nearby objectives

The community guide places Fighter at the bus window held shut by a woman. It describes trying the window three times. Biometrics involves returning the appropriate corpse to the bench at the nearby rest platform; use the source’s route images to identify it.

Plan later Cold Protection rewards

These rewards depend on reaching and completing their respective objectives. They are useful additions to your existing protection, but not substitutes for preparing to reach those locations.
