Check crates and compatible panels in inhabited locations for a Barbell plate. Use the Robo-Arm when the panel interaction calls for removal. Loose plates are rarer and can be picked up by hand.

Each plate weighs 4. If you are gathering several machine or tool parts, account for that weight before collecting another duplicate. The extra part is useful only if you have a destination for it or want a spare within your carry budget.

Trade weight and durability for more crowbar damage

Barbell plateGear

Compared with Gear, Barbell plate adds another 10 crowbar damage and another 1 weight. Its maximum part durability is 400 versus Gear’s 500. This makes the choice more specific than simply fitting whichever part has the larger damage number.

Use these values for the crowbar Heavy slot. They are damage contributions, not a multiplier for material drops and not a count of hits before maintenance.

The plate is also compatible with the Nutri-Pack-O-Mat Heavy module. Compare its processing changes and other effects on that machine, including the Hazardous warning. A +20 crowbar damage bonus is not a food-machine output statistic.

If your bottleneck is nutrient storage, also inspect the Capacity module. Fitting a Heavy part does not occupy the container slot or unlock a food button.

Prepare the tool around the plate

Keep 1 Metal available when the crowbar needs repair. An optional Bone fits its Handle slot and serves a different purpose from the plate. Open the appropriate slot for each part, then compare the finished tool before leaving the work area.
