Bone: Where to Find the Crowbar Handle

Bone is a rare insulating Handle part for the Scrap crowbar. Search around remains for the actual pickup, and keep its handle role separate from the Gear or Barbell plate used in the Heavy slot.

Inspect places containing the remains of living creatures for a collectable Bone. The handle part is a rare loose pickup. A visible skeleton is a reason to look closely, but only a usable item interaction lets you collect this part.
The inventory part weighs 2 and has maximum durability 100. If you also find Jaws while searching remains, keep the items distinct: Jaws fit Sharp slots and unlock the Cutter recipe, whereas Bone serves as a crowbar handle.
Use the Handle slot on Scrap
Open the crowbar upgrade interaction and select the Handle position. The crowbar is named Scrap in its item record. Gear and Barbell plate belong to its separate Heavy position, so choosing a handle and choosing a damage-boosting heavy part are different decisions.
A handle upgrade also does not restore the crowbar body. Bring 1 Metal for its repair if condition is low; the tool does not require battery cells or ammunition.
Keep the insulation benefit in context
Bone provides an insulating handle. That property is useful to consider when preparing a tool, but it is not a complete electrical-protection outfit. Evaluate the electrical protection of your equipped suit separately before approaching an electrical hazard or a robot that can shock you.
Add striking power through the other slot
For a damage increase, compare Gear with Barbell plate. Gear adds 10 crowbar damage at weight 3; Barbell plate adds 20 at weight 4. Those figures describe the Heavy parts and do not turn the Bone handle into a damage upgrade.
