The first chapter arrives on Steam
RedRuins set the Early Access launch for August 31 at 15:00 UTC. Its announcement describes getting the first chapter ready while continuing work on the wider story, locations, ship and future mechanics. The available chapter is the starting point for that development process, not version 1.0.
For a new player, the practical distinction is between content available in the current build and features discussed for later updates. The wiki’s item, quest and survival pages identify their game snapshot so those two categories do not get mixed together.
A roadmap and a changing release
The launch announcement includes an Early Access roadmap and describes its dates as approximate. RedRuins says it wants to use player feedback to adjust balance, improve mechanics and shape the next stages of development. A roadmap therefore provides direction rather than a guarantee that every planned feature is already playable.
The studio also announced a launch discount and said it intended to raise the price as major updates arrived, following its approach to the first Breathedge. Those are launch-time statements; the current Steam listing is the place to verify today’s price and availability.
Old demo routes deserve the same version caution. Subsequent patch notes explicitly explain changes to objects such as the taxi letters, while the current wiki uses the Early Access game rather than assuming the demo is still an exact reference.
How to send a useful bug report
The official announcement points players to Esc → Report Bug. The same window provides a toggle to include a save file. A clear description of the location, objective and action that caused the problem gives the developer more to investigate than a general statement that a quest is broken.
The studio asks for optional contact details when reporting a serious issue so it can ask follow-up questions. Whether to provide those details is up to the player. The wiki does not submit a report or send a save on your behalf.
The first post-launch announcements already show why that feedback matters: the September updates cover object physics, survival balance, tool requirements and progression blockers. Our update archive connects those changes to the items and objectives they affect.
