The English Suit performance was replaced
RedRuins says the English Suit voiceover was fully re-recorded and replaced, bringing the performance closer to the character’s original Russian writing. This changes presentation and localization, not the quest or item data used by the planner.
Players comparing recordings from launch or the demo should therefore record the game version alongside any quote or video timestamp. The official note does not promise identical voice content in every language.
Encyclopedia links and text were cleaned up
The patch fixes errors in encyclopedia text and hyperlinks. A link that reaches a different entry after the update is therefore not necessarily a missing collectible or a changed quest; check the current in-game entry first.
Steam Deck and progression fixes
Steam Deck optimization was improved. The update also fixes the case where putting the dummy in the locker was not counted and restores the marker on the chief’s head after the body exploded.
If an older save still appears to be missing a marker, capture the exact objective and patch version before repeating the interaction. The later 0.8.10 and 0.8.11 notes include additional quest-state fixes.
